In an effort to fulfill our mission to advance global cancer research, the Center for Global Health (CGH) sponsors and participates in a number of global health events for both national and international audiences. Although events vary by region and topic, they all focus on the open exchange of scientific knowledge.

Translating Health Care Technologies from Concept to Impact: Challenges and Opportunities in Global Cervical Cancer Prevention
In this seminar, Dr. Nimmi Ramanujam will examine the intersection between the global burden of cancer, health inequities, and technology innovation. Using cervical cancer as a case study, she will describe how new biomedical engineering solutions can extend the reach of health care to a broader population.
